friends

Friends raconte l'histoire de 6 amis vivant à New York. 3 filles: - Phoebe : Très "fantaisiste", elle est la colocataire de Monica au début de la série. Elle a vécu dans la rue suite au suicide de sa mère. Elle a une soeur jumelle nommée Ursula. - Rachel : Fille à papa ayant quitté son futur mari devant l'hôtel en s'enfuyant par la fenêtre des toilettes. Elle vient vivre avec Monica suite au départ de Phoebe. - Monica : Soeur de Ross ayant été obèse pendant son adolescence. Elle est obsédée par la propreté. 3 garçons: - Ross : Frère de Monica, divorcé de Carol devenue lesbienne qui attend un enfant de lui. - Joey : Acteur (plutôt mauvais) italien ayant 7 soeurs et colocataire de Chandler. - Chandler : Meilleur ami de Ross depuis l'université, il est le colocataire de Joey. Sur une touche comique, ces six amis vont évoluer devant nous en trouvant par exemple un nouveau travail, en se mariant, en divorçant (une petite pensée pour Ross), en ayant des enfants... Ils se retrouvent souvent au Central Perk dont le gérant est Gunther, amoureux secret de Rachel. Mais derrière ces gags récurrents, Friends développe des thèmes importants comme la stérilité dans un couple, l'adoption, la perte d'un proche ou d'un travail... Plusieurs guest-stars sont apparues dans cette série dont notamment : Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Bruce Willis, Ben Stiller, Elle MacPherson ou encore Sean Penn
